Step 1: Pull up a map of the UW--Seattle campus online.
Step 2: Locate Hutchinson Hall (hint: it's in the upper right hand corner).
Step 3: Locate Hitchcock Hall (hint: It's in the lower left hand corner).
Step 4: Assume ten minutes maximum to get from Point A to Point B.
Step 5: Factor in a 34-pound backpack.
Step 6: Factor in high-heeled shoes.
Step 7: Factor in f***king asthma.

I hate summer.

But my classes are great thus far, so it's all good, I guess.

My feet hurt. And I had to get up at 5 to catch a bus here, and the bus was standing room only, and that sucked too.

The heels were boots. They're my favorite boots, and they make me tall, which makes me appear thinner. It's a binocular cue. And I wanted to look thin, just for the one day.

The backpack's somewhat of a necessity, since all texts are required IN all my classes. Yes, we actually use the books while we're IN class. Strange, I know. But it's sadly true, at least for the classes I'm currently taking.
